Sydney, AU – Monday, Jan 13th, 2014 and Tuesday, Jan 14th, 2014

I did a ton of wheeling Sunday at the Taronga Zoo so I took it easy today.  I have only done laundry in the sink in my room so I thought it was time to get my clothes washed at a laundromat.  I dropped my laundry off at Macleay St. Laundrette.  There are two steps up to the laundry but they just meet me at the bottom of the steps.  I then went Gloria Jean’s Coffee’s to use the free wi-fi to make some phone calls, use the internet and update my google maps.  Went back to pick up my laundry about 3pm.  My clothes were nicely clean at a cost of only $10 AU.  Headed out for dinner and a couple beers at Kings Cross Hotel.

My arms are very sore today and not knowing how much I’d be wheeling around at the wine tour on Wednesday I took it easy today.  Went shopping at Woolworth’s, a grocery store down the street from the hotel for a few items.  The grocery store is very accessible with two down ramps to the grocery and one up ramp on the way out.  The self checkout was very easy to use.  Picked up lunch at Subway and ate lunch outside by the El Alamein Fountain.  After heading back to the hotel for a few hours to work on some posts, I meet Valentine at Darlo Bar to play in a pool competition.
Valentine
Valentine is who I meet Thursday playing pool at The Crest Hotel.  I won my first game against Valentine’s wife, Emma, but lost to Massimo in the second round.  He did end up winning the competition.  Darlo Bar was a little bit of a wheel with one minor hill to go up.  The bar is very accessible on the ground floor and an accessible bathroom.
