I have booked my flight home from Cairns, AU to Dayton, OH. I now have all my flights booked (17) and all my lodging booked in 10 cities throughout Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Alice Springs, Perth, Darwin and Cairns) and New Zealand (Queenstown, Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland). I am making progress on “things to do” in each city but still have a bunch of research and planning to do. Here are a few things I have planned. To visit the Blue Mountains and go on a Hunter Valley Wine tour in Sydney. In Alice Springs take a tour of Uluru and the East/West MacDonnells. On the recommendation of Amanda Kendle, a travel blogger who lives in Perth, I will head out to Rottnest Island and Fermantle. There is a lot to see in and around Darwin. One place is the Aboriginal rock art in Kakadu National Park. Scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef off Cairns is a MUST. I also have plans to visit Daintree Rainforest. Queenstown is the place for adventure to zipline, paraglide and bungy jump. With this trip not even started I am working on an African Safari in Botswana and visiting Victoria Falls on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. I have added a contact page to the website with ways to contact me and you can follow on twitter and instagram. I am getting very excited with only 146 days remaining. This will be an adventure of a lifetime.
