I have no plans today. We dove yesterday and have diving planned for Friday and Saturday. I spent most of the morning writing and am nowhere close to being caught up. I meet mom and dad for a late lunch at Mex Level, where I ate a few days ago. After lunch we head to Cairns Tourist Info Center to get a tour scheduled. The tour we get scheduled is Rainforest, Waterfalls and Paronella Park for Sunday with Northern Experience Eco Tours. We spend a few hours hanging out around the lagoon then head for our daily stop at Rattle n Hum. It’s time for dinner and we eat at Cafe Thailand on Aplin Street. The restaurant is not accessible with 2 steps up to the main eating area. We eat at the outside eating area with table service. They do have a bathroom but not accessible. The food here is excellent. On my way to Gilligan’s down Aplin Street by Lake Street are several trees filled with fruit bats. Every evening they head out somewhere and fill the sky. (VIDEO)
